Sick. And new discovery!!

I got sick suddenly.  Feeling like a swollen ball rolling around at uni... but I still put makeup on to make myself feel a little bit better. :)

Recently bought the Ambers x9 eye shadow palette from M.A.C. and used it today for the first time... and I'm so impressed by the staying power and the color payoff! I can still see my eye shadow on my lids after a long day of essay writing. Why did I spend so much money on buying cheap shadows before?!  I would stick to M.A.C. from now on!!

Gonna finish everything from uni soon woohoo~ byebye studies :D

Go natural - products that I have tried so far - iherb.com

To go natural is a slow and gradual process for me. I feel a lot more comfortable when using natural products because I know what I'm doing to my body and I know they not harmful to me.

All products from: http://www.iherb.com/   <3!

Here are some products I've used OR I'm using at the moment along with mini reviews in brackets:

Health related:
  • Now Foods, Garlic 5000, 90 Tablets (for my skin, hair and nails)
  • Madre Labs, Omega-3 Premium Fish Oil, 180 mg EPA/120 mg DHA, 100 Softgels *can't take continuously for more than 3 weeks)
  • Nature's Way, Organic, Echinacea Purpurea Herb, 400 mg, 180 Capsules
I live at dorm 5 days in a week and I can't eat as healthy as I do at home. I bought these mainly because I want to boost my immunity and to prevent any possible illnesses that I'm prone to during this assignment period at uni (ahhh I wanna just be lazy). They have been helping me so far. There were only 2 days when I felt I like I might be sick but I kept taking these supplements and I didn't actually get sick :D

One thing I've noticed is that I get stomach pain after I took the Echinacea Purpurea Herb sometimes, which it goes away after like half an hour. Not really sure why.

Beauty related:
  • E.L.F. Cosmetics, Eyelid Primer, Sheer, 0.17 fl oz (5 ml) (great value, does the job)

  • Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman, Miracle Complexion Sponge, 1 Sponge (good at blending liquids, but it absorbs quite a bit of products :( )
  • Crazy Rumors, Brew, Lip Balm, Spiced Chai, .15 oz (4.2 g) (haven't used yet but I bought because I love chai!)

Hair related:
  • Now Foods, Solutions, Castor Oil, 16 fl oz (473 ml) (thick, but I can see regrowth already in just 1 week)
  • Nature's Gate, Shampoo, Strengthening, Biotin, 18 fl oz (532 ml) (nice smell and feels good on scalp)

  • St. Dalfour, Organic, Vanilla Tea, 25 Tea Bags, 1.75 oz (50 g) (smells so nice but i got dry throat after drinking it, weird haha)
  • Uncle Lee's Tea, Legends of China, Green Tea, Lemon, 100 Tea Bags, 5.64 oz (good green tea with No lemon flavour)

Stay tune for more in-depth reviews of the products soon! :)

Go natural.

Lately I have been reading a lot of articles about the harmful chemical substances in non natural beauty products.  We need to be educated so that we can stay beautiful without harming ourselves.  There are so many chemical names I don't really know,  so the best way to avoid all those is to go natural.

Going natural for me,  doesn't mean 100% (it's not practical).  I just want them to be mostly natural,  like around 80-90%.  And cruelty free!  I can't stand watching those animal testing videos on YT :'(. We should not treat them like this...

Obviously,  I can't go all natural in just 1 second because I still have a lot of 'normal' products. So what I am trying to do is using up all the unnatural stuff I have right now and then buy natural products for my next purchase. Since there aren't many shops that sells natural products,  iherb.com is now my go-to online shopping site for natural/organic products. :)

The next post will be my natural product list.
